Participation Summary

Participation Summary & the FPP stipend

As a WiSE-FPP Associate, you submit a Participation Summary – a record of the WiSE events you attended during the year – to WiSE. We then forward your summary to the Graduate School in support of their Future Professoriate Program. A completed Participation Summary is what makes you eligible for the Graduate School’s FPP stipend.

Students who satisfy their department’s expectation for participation can receive the annual stipend up to twice. Amounts vary by school or college, but most students can claim at least the Graduate School portion of the stipend. It is your responsibility to submit your summary on time so we can forward it before the Graduate School deadline.

Your annual portfolio

Each year, WiSE-FPP Associates develop and submit a professional portfolio and receive feedback from WiSE-FPP reviewers (faculty and staff at the University). Compiling your portfolio prepares you for job applications and helps you reflect on your career goals and your WiSE-FPP experience. Instructions differ for first- and second-year Associates.
